I had the opportunity to shoot the Tri-State Fair and Rodeo Gala last night at the Amarillo National Center. The shoot was for an upcoming edition of Amarillo Magazine. The event which included the Amarillo Star competition and a silent auction for the Tri-State Exposition’s scholarship program culminated with a concert by recording artist Billy Currington. It was a really good concert. I managed to get some pretty good shots during the show and wanted to post a few here. Enjoy!

“Dusk”

I just finished shooting an engagement session last night. We decided to finish off the shoot right at dusk to take advantage of a gorgeous sunset. Beutiful couple, beutiful sunset….hard to beat.

Center City Block Party

I shot the Center City Block Party last night for Amarillo Magazine. It was good time and their was a large crowd on hand. I got there right at dusk which made for some pretty cool photos, but the light was fading fast which had me scrambling a bit to get the shots I needed. The shots should be in an upcoming “out and about” section.

Just finished an anniversary shoot and thought I would post a couple of photos. The couple had mentioned the wanted kind of a “James Dean” look in one of the photos. The photo on top is the result.

“Kids Inc.”

Just finished a shoot at “Kids Inc.” this afternoon for Amarillo Magazine. I believe the images are for a story that will be in the August issue of the magazine. “West Texas Wedding”

We just finished shooting a wedding yesterday at Ranch House Weddings south of Canyon. Amarillo and the Texas plains for that matter may not provide for much in the way of scenery, but it is certainly hard to beat a west Texas sunset. We were there shooting Geoff and Marisa’s big day. It was a beautiful ceremony. The wind was blowing a little hard, but it did not take away from the occasion. They are a beautiful couple and obviously very much in love. Amy and I had a great time.
